Our community’s fourth portrait of the Season of Lent taught us this truth: One who was formerly blind– one who was healed from blindness– became a keen detector of blindness and, in some ways, developed a low tolerance for the spiritual blindness of others. Jesus’ healing of the man blind from birth gave us the chance to dig deep in the Scriptures and, among other things, brought some clarity about how God sees.
